18 year-old Han Kwang-song scored for Cagliari (against Joe Hart) on Sunday in their 3-2 defeat to Torino to make himself the first ever North Korean to score in Italian Serie A. He has come through the ranks of ISM in Perugia and looks set to sign a professional contract in the summer. He was also one of the scorers when North Korea beat South Korea to win the 2014 AFC U-16 tournament.

A match between two of the biggest sides in Sweden, Stockholm's AIK and Gothenburg's IFK has been cancelled after a player was offered money to play badly or risk having his family targeted.

Unfortunately, being the cynic that I am, this isn't really a surprise and is probably just the tip of the iceberg. People need to realise how easy and how profitable this can be. Never mind about King Cha, it's time to bring back anamerican!
