Hopefully most of the home games are actually in Changwon this season instead of galavanting around the province again.

Yes Matty agree with you there. Don't mind a few of them actually. Love going to Geoje. But a few are an absolute trek to get too.

Read somewhere that the military teams can't both play in the same time in the Classic. True?

I dont think so. I remember a couple of seasons ago both the army and police team played in the Challenge at the same time.

How tight is the league this season. I can't pick at least a team who I think will finish in the last 3. About last place I have no idea.

Anyang and Eland look to be the strugglers for me. No idea about Ansan.

I'd agree with that, certainly for Anyang.

The Ivorian lad they got from chungju is a good signing but I can't see them challenging for the playoffs.

Cho Suk-jae loaned to FC Anyang.

Anyang are seen by many the team which will be last, but have recruited quite well and maybe the can make some upsets. Not going to be in the promotion race, but...

Great effort. Especially the pre-season results.

I don't think it was been said here, but things are not going very well at Bucheon. Few weeks ago Anthony Golec and Roger Gaucho were both released. They both arrived this winter. Strange, very strange.

That question has raised by Korean journalists on the K League Challenge media day.

- Golec : He's the main centre back in their practice match, but his grandpa passed away few months ago. He had returned to Australia and came back, but the club found that he's not mentally recovered from the big loss. So he is released by Bucheon.

- Gaucho : Couldn't adapt to Korean football. He had experienced a hard pressure defense in practice matches and felt burdened about how to play under that pressure. After talks with him, Bucheon decided to let him go.

Well after my laziness and passiveness last season where I only saw 3 games I am going to make a much bigger effort this season considering Gyeongnam stopped the provincial tour lark this year.

Made to the home opener for Gyeongnam and they looked pretty decent winning 1-0 against Asan who looked pretty lively when on the ball.
The goal was an absolute cracker. The captain and veteran Bae Ki-Jong cracked a beautiful curving ball from nowhere on the right wing and new foreigner Marcao placed a beautiful header into the right hand side of the goal. Will be one if the best goals Gyeongnam score this season.

The two new Brazilians, Marcao and Bruno both look like decent signings.
Marcao is a very strong target man who should doninate in the box but is a bit clumsy with his feet, cant have it all I suppose. Should be good for 10 plus goals this seaon on today's display.
Bruno is very lively and ran rings around Asan in the first half until he ran out of legs halfway through the second. Should cause opposition defenses a lot of problems if his motivation levels stay high.

Anyway decent start against a police team who should do well with their squad. Good signs. Next two games on the road so a win in one of them would really give the team some reason for optimism.
