The fixtures are out.
The teams competing will be Korea, Italy, Scotland and Canada. Finland, England, Netherlands and Australia. Belgium, Czech Republic, Mexico and TBA.
The whole tournament happens over one week with teams playing about ever second day on the 4th, 6th and 9th of March. Finals on the 11th.
All the initial games will be played at the fantastic time of 23:30 KST. Might be why Korea plays all their games as early as possible.

There are two routes to success in football. One is being good. The other is being lucky. You need both to win a championship. But you need only one to win a match.

The first matches are up today and when I loaded the tournament up on my score app I noticed the TBA teams was listed. South Africa O.o
Guess I have two teams of interest to me now.

I'm sure I saw something about the KWNT playing Russia on Facebook today but I can't find it again...at first glance it looked like they were playing them twice in the space of a few days.

First round of games were played last night (couldn't find anything about a game against Russia
)
Korea Republic 1-2 Italy
Finland 1-3 England
Mexico 2-0 South Africa
Scotland 0-2 Canada
Netherlands 0-1 Australia
Czech Republic 2-2 Belgium
With the structure of the tournament a first round loss pretty much means you are out of the running, so ...

Yep, two friendlies against Russia in Korea in April - the first at Sungeui in Incheon on April 5th and the second at the Daejeon World Cup stadium on April 8th.

Re: Cyprus Women's Cup 2015
It's bananas the way this tournament is structured. Why have three groups when only teams from the first two can reach the final? The Algarve Cup is only marginally better. Either they want to be a bit of fun in the sun, or a serious competition. It probably doesn't make much difference in a World Cup year as everyone is just rehearsing anyway, but next year they really ought to have four groups in Algarve (invite England, Canada and whoever does best at the World Cup out of the remainder) and make Cyprus two groups of four, or something.

Korea made the final in 2017 but lost 1-0 to Switzerland. On their way to the final they beat both Scotland and New Zealand 2-0.
