One for the record books... Lee Ki-dong became the first ex-K3 player to play K-League football as he made his Pohang debut today and scored their goal as well. He had been playing for Cheongju Jikji in 2009 and finished second-top scorer before being drafted by Pohang.

That was the Incheon Korail faithful from about three or four years ago at the now-demolished Incheon Sung-eui stadium. Sadly the banner (and the fans) went missing when the team had to move to the Munhak practice pitch..

ACL teams not doing too well in the league. Wonder if that will change any time soon.

Out of 10 games, winning five and tying three is "not doing too well". Seongnam is doing JUST FINE. But there is a good bit of concern solely because Seongnam's second half schedule has quite a few more away games.

Seongnam might be doing OK, but overall the four teams record is W13 D11 L17 and they are sitting 5th, 7th, 11th and 15th. Not what you would expect from what were the three best teams in Korea last season (and Suwon).

We've never won teams upon 7th position this season. So I might happy when we are just in the last 6s at the end of season. Focusing on ACL is much more important than placing the top of League.

Well yesterday was a big disappointment to say the very least. Masan stadium is really old and a running track around the pitch makes the players look like stick men in the distance. In the future, let's not play there again, it's a shite ground full stop!

On to the game. Gyeongnam huffed and puffed, but to be fair the Busan back four looked good all game. We had two clear cut chances during the game which had they been taken i'm sure we would have won quite easily. Dong Chan was the guilty man for our first and "dick head" (number38) was the guilty party for the second.

To be fair a loss was due. Busan have sneaked up the league recently and by the way they celebrated at the final whistle was like they had won the league or something. Beat us in a derby, that's all boys don't get too carried away!

Both mine and justbecause's wifes came along for the game, and as the boredum set in for them both I think after only 10 minutes. They left to go shopping shortly after half-time.

Mid season break for the kleague coming up. Needed I think, as the team looked a bit jaded.

Speaking of chickens, I narrowly missed 이운재's head with a decapitated chicken yesterday after the referee sent off 고창현. It was pretty funny seeing some security guy run on into the goal mouth and remove 20 or so plastic chickens
