Indeed, the names.. there have been some superb names on here in the past but the winner by a clear mile has to be Gwangju Fishcakes. I actually thought you had come up with that one Rothesay, but upon reflection
it would appear Piggy deserves the credit for that one. I also quite like the Chickenwings playing at the Hen House

Agree with you that all the match reports are entertaining, what stood out for me about Charlie's reports was just the general, almost wide-eyed, wonderment at pretty much everything that happened on his trips, particularly in the early days when he was discovering the weird and wonderful places in Korea that the National League takes you to for the first time. He's a pretty seasoned traveller so it wasn't so much in a 'first time overseas and everything is brilliant' way, more that every time him and his kid(s) went to a game something pretty cool happened, and then he'd go to another game and something even better would happen. I like that kind of positivity, I think he'd joined up on the board after I'd returned to Scotland so it was great to read his very in depth travel reports from games. It kind of served as a reminder of just how good we've got it following Korean football and how much bloody good fun the match days can be, irrespective of the quality on show on the pitch!
I was hoping nobody would bring up the King Cha stuff.. I had it in for him from 2005 when he binned Zoran and brought Sandro in so was way ahead of the game before the cool kids such as mustoe and Bluewings were getting in on the act

The Sandro signing kind of acted as a spur to do a bit more lower league groundhopping and then moving to Incheon later that year led me to follow Korail a lot more closely.. happy times.
