Scottish football 2016/17

Postby Rothesay Saint » Fri Sep 23, 2016 1:14 pm

No hanging around with the league cup in Scotland this season and it's the semi final stage with Celtic v Rangers and Aberdeen v M****n.

I'm hoping Aberdeen win it almost as much as Steve and HJ are because the alternatives don't bear thinking about.

I'm happy that the Aberdeen-Morton game has been scheduled for the Saturday, at least the toilets will still be in working order...

Toilets will be out of bounds and none of the taps will work on the sinks either. They'll be shut off in respect to the fact that Morton fans have a fear of running water. There will of course be no soap either.

There are two routes to success in football. One is being good. The other is being lucky. You need both to win a championship. But you need only one to win a match.

I'm certainly not talking about shoohpin. Nice clip :)

I mean, what's up with this "team who shall not be named" business? I sniffed around online a bit, but I see nothing that would relate to what seems to be happening here.

There are even two unnamed clubs in this thread in all of seven posts. Which one are you talking about?

"Both" teams play Aberdeen(d), so I'm going to assume it is the same team until I have reason to believe otherwise.

A certain unnamed team's fans made a noise last night that Brendan Rodgers has never heard before.

Rangers are going full Kleague these days. They have announced the resignation of their management team... While the manager denies having resigned.

It's great!

With Celtic turning a budget ten times bigger than anyone else into a team that is ten times better than anyone else and St. Mirren managing to disappoint even the most pessimistic of supporters, Scottish football would be all doom and gloom if Castle Greyskull wasn't continuing to put out comedy gold like this.

Wait, back to Castle Greyskull. Where did that name come from?
