Are you a football hipster?

Postby Rothesay Saint » Wed Oct 30, 2013 5:01 pm

From the Guardian (via a well known poster's facebook page). A test to see how much of a football hipster you are.

I got 35 / 60, but I know there are others on here who'll score more than that. :albino:

Only 44 out of 60, but it's clearly unfair asking whether you'd want a Denmark 1985 shirt, spend the weekend travelling around North-West Germany with German football magazines (Mehmet Scholl is my favourite pundit) or sign players from Pohang. Yoo Chang-hyun is rightly underrated even though Pariahs used to like him.

32. And I'm pretty sure almost all my points came from the tactical ones.

I did, however, make some reasonable substitutions (Canada shirt for England, a player I like for Gazza, etc.) to compensate for the fact I'm not English.

I also went for the Korean transfer target, given that there's not a team on earth that could afford Messi.

Yeah, at one point it did cross my mind that you might have been the writer of the quiz. :albino:

In Yangju, if your cabbage doesn't understand you and you have valid reason for not eating it, then it is ok to go to other vegetables for your kimchi - though strictly nothing from south of Namyangju. -- Martyrs Forever

Probably written by one of my so-called friends.

At least I didn't get the highest score around here. I'm wondering where I dropped points against paquebot. Is it my love of the 4-4-2?

I had assumed the quiz gave me a couple of hidden bonus points for starting the 'Bus Porn' thread here on the forum.

I got 43. I did not anticpate that. I'm no hipster, I always thought of myself more of a OCD sufferer...

Another regular poster here (who has not contributed to this thread yet and who also got 43) claims:
" Frankly I find many of these answers to be cosmopolitan, not hipster!" :smt102

Can't remember what I got, it was a couple of weeks ago I did it, but lower than most of you! I think it was probably Gazza and the 4-4-2 that let me down as well! ;)

I got 45 by choosing the answer that made the least amount of sense. :drunken: :albino:
