Oh no wait a minute that's not right...

I hope it isn't true that one of the reasons he joined Cardiff is because they play in red. I really hope that's not true. They're called the Bluebirds for a reason and I hope he knows what that reason is.

Cardiff go back to blue and Kim gets mutual consented? I think there is something in this shirt colour theory...

CLUB STATEMENT: KIM BO-KYUNG
24 Jan 2015

Cardiff City Football Club can confirm that Kim Bo-Kyung’s contract with the club has been terminated by mutual agreement. The player leaves Cardiff City with immediate effect.

We would like to thank Bo-Kyung for his contribution and wish him the very best for his future

Better start learning a new language since his work permit was rejected. If Korea magically move up two places in the world rankings (who bases their immigration rules on a list that claims that Wales are the tenth best football team in the world?) over the next week he might reapply. Otherwise he could be on his way back to Korea (or more likely Germany or the Middle East)

He's not coming back to Korea based on what I heard yesterday. He has offers on the table from a few clubs. Sounded like he'll end up in the Middle East to me but I hope not.

Apparently moving to cyprus team anothosis famagusta. Would be a very random move as they aren't even playing in the Europa league...

Strange one indeed. Would have thought he could have got a higher level than that. Still...probably better than the Middle East.

Gutted he couldn't join Rovers. He is exactly what we need after selling Cairney to Fulham.

Wonder if he's going to Cyprus for the language? English is quite widely spoken there and proficiency is high, moreso than in a lot of other European countries. If he can't remain in the UK then it might be a factor in his decision? I'm sure I read the English language factor was a big decision in Lee Young-pyo choosing to remain at Tottenham and not move to Roma, after God telling him not to that is.

Or can he somehow circumvent the FA rules by doing this and then moving to Blackburn on loan?

The pedant in me wants to insist that Cyprus is in the Middle East (Google maps, Wikipedia and the Dodgy Dossier agree :study: ).
