I guess it kind of puts the whole "Asian Real Madrid" thing regarding Suwon to bed then - their 'millions' pale into insignificance when compared to Al Ittihad's ;)

ACL final

Postby Holyjoe » Thu Oct 27, 2005 10:04 am

First leg: Al Ain 1-1 Al Ittihad

Kwon Jong-chul refereed the game with one Korean linesman and one Korean fourth official helping out and avoided any big controversy (he is hugely unpopular with the Suwon fans, but then isn't everyone?)

Second leg is on November 5th.

Clubs sandwiched

This is being addressed by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), who have made improving club football and domestic structures across the continent one of the pillars of their Vision Asia blueprint for the future development of Asian football.

Time to put theAFC Vision Asia Committee to work again.

I don't know what that is, but I quite fancy Busan to get out of their group with a perfect record.
