2 now.

More dodgy keeping from Seoul for the second goal - their second choice keeper must be awful if this lad is in ahead of him.

What?! Are you over kyd already?
There are two routes to success in football. One is being good. The other is being lucky. You need both to win a championship. But you need only one to win a match.

Arses.

No K-League team in the final for the first time in a thousand years. At least they're spreading the fun around a bit and there's a team with red and black hoops in the final.

John Duerden's article on this semis-final:

For Korean fans, it didn't help that watching the 2014 version of FC Seoul is about as fun as watching boring, substandard soap operas...

The article can be found here (ESPN Soccernet).

I'm thinking of taking a book to matches and settling in on a seat instead of standing the whole game.

But seriously, I don't mind a boring win. I come from Pretoria, Blue Bull country. That team is almost legendary for their long drawn out mauling across the field. I can handle the boredom just fine, but when a game ends in a 0-0 draw because both teams are scared of the big rectangular thing behind the guy wearing the gloves, THEN it starts getting to me.

I still firmly belief that WSW would not have passed Guangzhou Evergrande had they not "rolled around" to get two of Evergrande's best domestic players (Gao Lin/Zhang Linpeng) off for silly dramatic playacting by the Aussies. Shameful

Yep. Hope WSW get stuffed. Their manager denying it after the match was insufferable.

Hard to tell how much of this is over-hyped now that the video in question has been bombarded by outraged readers, but it's on the BBC so it must be true (or false if you're SaintsCanada :albino: ).

A female spectator cheering for a Saudi football team has angered men on social media in the country.

Western Sydney deserved to go to the finals. We were piss poor against them. Couldn't finish and no creativity at all. Hopefully, Choi Yong-soo learned from this and bring in a decent striker in the January transfer window.

No. Because they didn't deserve to even be in the semis.
