Won't be going to the game, no, as I'm down in Busan, but will definitely be watching it. I had a funny feeling, even after the first 2 games that Jeonbuk would be back and they certainly are. I'm confident they'll win this one too to top the group!

Jeonbuk is playing today.. Can a win at home guarantee the knock-out stage?

Jeonbuk have been done at home for the second time in this competition, Kashiwa getting up 2-0. To advance to the next round they will need the game in Thailand to be a draw or a loss for Guangzhou else it will knock the Jeonju boys into 3rd place.

In the other game Nagoya easily dealt with Central Coast at home meaning Seongnam are through, no matter what happens in Beijing.

Last minute penalty has put Guangzhou through. They win 2-1. So near and yet so far for Jeonbuk. What a shame.

As a side note, it looked like an absolutely crazy atmosphere, both from the Thai supporters and the sizeable Chinese support there too. I really must get myself over to a game in Thailand one of these days.

Horrible defending for Jeonbuk today. Did Kim Jung-woo play in defense? But still they should have scored in couple of occasions. There was no urgency from Jeonbuk until they allowed two goals. Either they played for a draw or they were tired from midweek Ulsan game.

well done Seongnam. They now probably play at home with Kashiwa..

Second team in Pohang's group comes to Tancheon.

I had been thinking Ulsan's game vs. FC Tokyo really wouldn't mean that much tonight but damn, there's a huge difference between playing Kashiwa Reysol at home and going to China to play Guangzhou. Let's go boys--Tokyo is just the Seoul of Japan!

It's decided a LONG time ago. The draws begin after R16. R16 is the same as R16 last year when Suwon beat Nagoya 2 nil.

NEXT year Ulsan/FC Tokyo situation wouldn't mean THAT much because it will be HOME/AWAY for R16.

Did you notice Pohang's situation?

GAMBA OSAKA (JPN) (at home, but can't qualify for Round Two)
10:00
ADELAIDE UNITED (AUS) (leading the group by a slim margin, should win.)

BUNYODKOR (UZB) (at home, must win or out)
12:00
POHANG STEELERS (KOR) (away, must tie or better)

Adelaide will likely win and face Nagoya at home.
Runner Up goes to Tancheon.
