Korea will have to play a lot better to have any chance of a result in this one going by what I have seen the first two games.

No Son Heung-min but otherwise a strong starting XI from Korea, which surprised me. They've been sitting back most of the game and so far it has worked out nicely as they lead Australia 1-0 at half-time, with a well-worked goal from Sangju's centre forward Ee Cheong-hyeop after a low cross from Ee Keun-ho. The Ozzies have come close a few times and Park Joo-ho has gone off injured.

Is Stiely doing a 1954 and playing the full 23-man squad in the first 3 matches? All three keepers have started. I think everyone in the squad has had game time so far, even Cha Du-ri, or have I missed someone?

1-0 it finishes to Korea. Great stuff, Australia go on to play China and Korea get the winner of Uzbekistan and Saudi Arabia. The Koreans looked tired and their counter-attacks weren't lethal enough, but three clean sheets in three group matches after their World Cup defence looked more full of holes than a state highway has to be seen as a great success. I'm thrilled for the Kyopo fans in Oz, just a shame they didn't get an offside goal to cheer. The injury troubles continue with Park Joo-ho off with what looked like a concussion and Koo Ja-cheol taken to hospital with a wrist injury. Lee Cheong-yong's tournament is already over, so that's three key guys missing already. And what happened to the alleged great international refereeing conspiracy against Australia? It looked like a clear penalty against Lee Jeong-hyeop in the second half, but not given.

Ah, you're right. They've changed the starting goalkeeper in both games, but they changed back to the original guy and haven't started the number 1 yet.
