Perhaps with one eye on getting revenge for the 4-0 thumping at Craven Cottage in February, the KFA are in discussions with the Croatian FA about arranging a return friendly match on September 10th. They're looking at playing this in Korea but the Croats face Serbia in Belgrade on September 6th so that might prove a stumbling block. The KFA failed to arrange a home friendly against Iran on September 6th but are hopeful of lining up another Asian side for that date, and there are still suggestions that a game against Brazil in October could come off also.

Re: 10/09/13 friendly (possibly v Croatia)
There's a bit of talk the friendly on September 6th could be against North Korea. Another goalless draw it is then.
Re: 06/09/13 and 10/09/13 friendlies
So it's not North Korea on the 6th then but it will instead be Haiti, the game to be played at the Incheon Football Stadium (Sungeui) which is a brilliant choice of venue. This will be the first time Korea has faced Haiti.
The Croatia game on the 10th has been confirmed, that one is to be played at the Jeonju World Cup stadium. Kick-offs for both matches are set at 8pm.

That's great. The Haiti friendly should giveHMB his first win and a confidence boost.

Nice to see our own Cho Dong-geon gets a chance, though I believe he doesn't get a minute from the game.
But, I am missing one "Europe-based" player here.

Ki? Think of all that extra free time he'll have to spend playing Farmville or Mafia Wars on Facebook.

A couple of late dropouts means I've got two spare tickets for tonight's game. If any has last minute plans to come along or wants to avoid queuing on the night, you welcome to come and sit with a couple of other ROKforumers and I.
PM me or my number is 010-3288-1203, if you're interested.

So a 4-1 victory in the end and Hong gets his first win in front of 13,624 at the Sungeui. Thought they'd have got a lot closer to a sell out than that in the smaller venue, I guess a combination of a who-the-fuck-are-they opponent and standard national team match ticket prices wasn't going set pulses racing. Didn't see the game so they could have been absolutely scintillating on the field, by all accounts Lee Chung-yong definitely was when he came on as a sub.

I'm surprised they got that many to show up. Pointless game against hopeless opponents on a weekend when there's real matches to worry about.

Greetings from Croatia..
First of all, I wanna say that my NT has come to Seoul with second team and Korea is a big favorite in that match.. I saw roster written here of Korea NT but I don't know Korean and so can someone please write me on English your team?!
Second, Croatia will be play in formation 4-2-3-1..
Krešić - Srna, Lovren, Vida, Milić - Ademi, Rakitić - Perišić, Halilović, Eduardo - Kalinić
Bolded players are in first team, others are subs or even they are playing first cap for my NT..
Whole roster : http://prntscr.com/1q8dd3
