Classic no more, Challenge no more

Postby Holyjoe » Mon Jan 22, 2018 5:58 pm

Initially I thought these names were utterly appalling but I've grown to quite like them... just in time for the K-League to do away with them from 2018. Supposedly the new official names for the two divisions will be K League 1 and K League 2.

Very sensible but at the same time very disappointing...

I was feeling the same. Started to used to the names. Will take some time to say 1 and 2, but almost all the fans are happy with this change.

I'm assuming that K-league 2 will be the top league, would hate to think Korean football is becoming sensible just as I'm moving back.

Rothesays coming back, I’m single again and the kleague is back to 1 and 2.

Feels like we are getting the band back together. Just need to get Holyjoe to abandon his kids and it really will be #again2005

I like the change to K League 1 and 2 too. It's because I'm dull and boring. But hooray nonetheless. :smt113

Rather sensibly, the football powers still refer to the fourth and fifth divisions as the "K3". Otherwise, it just wouldn't be South Korean football.
