Suwon Bluewings 2016

Postby Suwonesque » Sun May 08, 2016 7:05 pm

Hope, this post doesn't violate the house rules. I wanna post my frustrations and personal opinions about Suwon Bluewings here.

Shanghai game was the first Suwon game I attended this season and we won, little meaningful game but it was a comfortable victory. Maybe, I should visit the Big Bird more frequently.

The guy in front scored two goals, but he seems slow with physical strength. Hope he works on his pace.

I watched them in Melbourne and it is clear that they have no game plan in the box... also so vulnarable to counter attacks..

A lot improved since the Melbourne game. But not the result.
The problem is, Suwon is playing up so high and running a lot, and conceding goals in the second half as they running out of tanks or lack concentration for a full game.
Yesterday's game against Jeonbuk was a proper football game, but the ref spoiled it. I have never ever seen a yellow card for a wrong throw in.
Until that point, both teams were excited and playing exciting game.

Still, Suwon showed up well, scored a second goal. I think they will definitely improve.

Even we are not wining, this season I am in a very good mood as lots of our players are from Suwon youth academy, Maetan high school boys. So, it is good to see them doing well. Personally, I would prefer to see Kim Gun-hee, Chang-hoon or Koo Ja-ryong than some unknown Hygor type of player.

yeah, i think your boys did well even with a man down in the second. a goal was bound to happen, when u r a man down for 60 mins. it looked like they were playing D until it was 1-1 then they were trying to find counters. the passing on han kyo wan's goal was a great attempt by jeonbuk. i cant tell if luiz's goal was a straight shot or deflection, but good enough he scores AGAIN against his old club. the winning goal was a bit of miscommunication but the goalie just has to attack the hell out of that. looks like he didnt go full in on the dive after it.

somehow we still havent lost a game and are tie with seoul. i have been negative about our team, mainly to coaching strategies and
well well well

I have, last season, in the K3.

Lee Jae-an was sent off v Daegu for time-wasting at a throw-in. It happens, in Korea at least.

I was waiting for the highlights to find out what the hell the second booking was for. They also confirmed that the first booking was very harsh. A throw-in from the wrong place is not a yellow card offence. At a push, time wasting, but 25 minutes into the game, at home, half way inside their own half, with no indication as to where the throw was to be taken - ridiculous.

The referee was dreadful all game, and also dreadfully inconsistent. There was maybe one tackle in the entire game worth a yellow, yet he gave 8 yellows. Also, he would book one team's player for a type of foul, but then not the other way. The linesmen were no use either.

Bright side - it was an entertaining game, the first time I've been vaguely excited about a K-league game since the 5-1 supermatchee last year. Suwon were more fun to watch than the turgid side of the last few years, even when down to 10 men. Cho won-hee was fantastic, showing all the class that made him a regular FM2014 purchase. And 6 starters through the youth system.

Yes Scotty. Bluewings is improving day by day, maybe in the next game in the derby vs Suwon Fc the win will finally come, but 3 defenders are suspended including the experienced LJS

Here it is.

By the way, the refs and refs committee said there's nothing wrong with it as they warned the clubs & players ahead of the season that delaying the game will be punished, particularily when you are leading the game. Jeonbuk got the similar booking in Round 9.

For the first yellow, it's bit harsh yes but you know that K-League refs have tendencies giving out the card for 'looking tough' tackles rather than professional fouls...

Shin se-gye was so excited, so he kept pushing so up.. it was never a time-wasting. Fans come to watch a proper game but it was decided by the ref. Pity and disappointing.

Regarding the defenders, i think LJS is making a lot more mistakes than his teammates. He should be the one who would be leading the line actually.

Anyway Suwon derby next.

it isn't an offense because he was excited? id be pissed to if it happened to my squad, but let's be honest. the first yellow was cleats in on a jump towards the player. it was dangerous, bottom line.

the second, he did get up and up and up on the side, i dont think he once looked back or to the side. Looked at his original position, he had to open options there (side or a lob to the CB). he had a player run to him, but kept going forward, and far forward.

like i said, i would be pissed but i think your boy pulled to cards for himself. maybe someone needs to talk to shin segae and tell him not to be exicted.

I saw K League fans' reactions here and there, nobody except Suwon B fans blames the ref.. lol

Anyone go to the game? Hygor seemingly came on for the final three minutes.. let's see if he features in the big Suwon derby today or perhaps Seo Jung-won has decided that a three minute appearance against a third division side is about his level.

Suwon B fans, you mean Suwon FC fans? ;)

At least Suwon have A and B fans, where Seongnam had no fans until recently... :D

Holyjoe, I couldnt find any highlight, but I believe he was not good..
