Don't think I noticed this before but Daegu LB Lee Joon-hee also signed for E-Land.

http://www.kleague.com/eng/sub.asp?loca ... yer_detail

So I would make our starting line-up:

1. Glory
2. Lee Jae-hoon
3. Lee Joon-hee
4. Kim Joon-tae
5. Mitchell
6. Kim Dong-chul
7. Kim Jae-sung
8. Shin Il-soo
9. Joo Min-kyu
10. Jonatas Belluso
11. Yoon Seung-yeul

Jeonbuk look to have snapped up the Wookie to lead the line next season. That's some front line they have now.

Guess that means Jeonbuk have given up on signing some expensive old foreign bloke then? At least an expensive old foreign forward player anyway.

Some Brazilian websites have Mota returning to the K-League to rejoin Seongnam. He's 35 now so will have lost a fair amount of pace and sharpness but he was a cracking player back in the day.

Hey, John Terry's available in a few months. Maybe that's who Jeonbuk have been eyeing this entire time. ;)

i dont like the over packing of players. the good thing about wookie is he can sit on the bench and be ready to come off at full pace. others, esp the foreigners, are expecting to play every game... mental games, mental stress, it's all going to come into effect i am sure
well well well

If he's lost a fair amount of the pace he had at Pohang then he's going to need an on-field assistant to give him an occasional push.

Apparently Rohan Ricketts was on trial at Gwangju but didn't get a deal. Pity.

another midfielder?? what is going on man.... we just finished a 5-5 game in spring training... why have we not added any more defenders?? this is going to be a high scoring season with a 0 of goal difference .... WHY DID WE NOT SIGN ALEK FROM JEJU WHEN HE WAS STILL IN THE LEAGUE??

Australian defender Adrian Leijer to Suwon FC on a two-year contract. Former Norwich, Fulham, Melbourne Victory.

Also reports of ex-Belgian international striker Marvin Ogunjimi to Suwon FC. However, one "unofficial" tweet about this subject has a photo of a guy in a Suwon Bluewings scarf. Not sure if it's the same player. Odd one.

Loads of fun watching the media get the two clubs confused! :smt117

alright, read a bit and watch some videos. had never heard of the guy before this morning over breakfast. he is pretty tall and will be a great guy to mark kim shin wook when we play ulsan... OOPS... we are def the tallest team in the league now. anyways, Def mid but got aleague goal of the year in 2011. very interested to see what our line ups will be like and who will be sold coming the summer window.

Yep they've confused that one and the picture is of the Bluewings' uberdiddy Brazilian signing Hygor. Suwon FC appear to really be making a go of things, some reasonably creative signings which is good to see, they've resisted the temptation to phone a bloke who knows some Brazilian agents and seem to be putting a bit of thought in to their player recruitment.

One for weka today, Kim Yong-dae has decided to join Ulsan Hyundai and seems to have spurned an offer from former club Seongnam. Does that mean weka transfers clubs too? :-)

Do you think he was telling porkies about his discussions with Pohang or has he had a couple of attempts at getting into Korea? The Fishcakes weren't around when he was supposedly over on trial at Pohang so perhaps he has tried more than once.

Boo hoo we just won the league by thousands of points and we've signed a shitload more players who are probably better than everyone else's. Must be terrible being a Jeonbuk fan ;-)

Actually their transfer activity this window is a lot like my Football Manager approach and it works for me so I can't see anything wrong with it...
