Hello Venus have previous as football fans.

They, like AOA, seem to have done the baseball in the past but not yet the proper sports:

Apparently Bucheon also have some sort of basketball cheerleading squad lined up as well, think from a female basketball team. They're going for an absolute girls-in-skimpy-costumes overload at the weekend by the sounds of things. Good on them.

Horrible positioning there by Hello Venus. Should have been alternating red and white tops, preferably with the girls in jeans on the ends.

Hmmm. Be right back, think I need to be diagnosed with OCD.

I decided to go to Suwon anyway. I've been to that site before for volleyball, but the football stadium and baseball stadiums are now open.

The gates to the baseball stadium were open and people were allowed to just walk in and have a view of the inside. Nice and shiny, even more so when compared to the old football stadium.

The half time entertainment was for guys dressed in white lip syncing in the middle of the pitch. If it wasn't for the few scream girls peeing themselves from excitement then I would not even have noticed.

The game itself was OK. Suwon was dominant for most of the match and had so many great opportunities that just sent past the goal. In the second half the flood gates opened and 5 goals were scored in total. Suwon scored first, then Bucheon slotted in a corner. An unmarked defender would have been sold had he missed that. Suwons second was another decent goal, but then again Bucheon equalized. This time it happened so "fast" that everyone was just staring at the field wondering what happened. It looked like the whistle had blown because all the Suwon players had stopped playing, or something, except there was no whistle until the ball when it.

The lats goal went Suwon's way in the final 30 seconds when a lobbed over the keeper off a heared, nicely through the tiniest space available. The 4500 people was rightly happy ecstatic.

Apart from the blip at half time, all in all a fun day.

Of, and they had loads of stuff to buy at the stalls, including some rather drinkable coffee for only 1000won. That is enough to get me to come back :)

Was anyone at the JS Cup game at the Suwon World Cup stadium? K-Pop group GFriend (여자친구) were there strutting their stuff as the Korean U18s beat Uruguay.

Not K-pop and not K-League but while wondering around Tokyo we came across a free concert by Doll Elementshttp://sp.doll-elements.com complete with Japanese ajosshi groupies doing all the dance moves and singing along. In fact the crowd was almost exclusively ajosshis. Afterwards they had meet n' greet where each ajosshi got to shake hands and exchange pleasantries with each group member. Pro tip: wear a long shirt to cover your erection.
