Apparently we're not the popular choice, and sadly I can't be there due to a family obligation but...just wanna get one "Let's go Ulsan!" in amongst all this Gyeongnam and Pohang love. Anyway you boys have fun at Munsu and don't take it too hard when your team loses ;-)

p.s. You're all invited to join me on the 19th to cheer on your k-league representative in the Champions League.

Its 7:20am. I arrived in Pohang about 20 minutes ago.

Im very very tempted to head out to 울릉도. Who will be at the steelyard tonight. Currently its cool and overcasts here.

You're keen... been to Pohang twice and there's very little of interest in the city really so going to Ulleung-do is a pretty good plan.

Doesnt it take a long time to get there and back???

I have been there once on a vacation, not much to do there. Head to Gyeongju and see the sights, it is only 30-40 mins up the road

Is there any special reason no one has posted results?

I didnt go to the island because youre required to spend the night on the island. I did find a few things to do. Was busy all day. Saw the match.

Pohang 2:1 Jeju. No extra time.

Pohang did score twice. But it seemed a pretty even match.

Holyjoe wrote:Seedings for the final have been announced as well, so these are the four different possibilities - the final won't be played at a neutral venue so will be at the home venue of the team named first:

Ulsan v Pohang
Jeju v Ulsan
Gyeongnam v Jeju
Pohang v Gyeongnam

So the final will be Pohang hosting Gyeongnam.

Just back from the Munsu. What, what a night it was. Absolutely buzzing about everything about tonight. Good away support, beer was flowing and good group of foreigners present. Wolfman and SJC from the forum were in attendance.

3-0 win and it was fully deserved. Ulsan were dire we weren't. Job done, onto the final against Pohang. Remarkable victory, still buzzing. I drove home on a high. Also listening to West Ham on my phone through an application were we won 3-0. Some night tonight. Nights like this make you realise why we love the game.

Asamoah picked himself up a hamstring injury in the first half and went off. But it should be a cracking final.

What is wrong with Ulsan. Will they crash out of the afc cl now?

So we're on for a repeat of the 2008 final then, which Pohang won 2-0. Gyeongnam have already won at the Steelyard this year, a 1-0 victory in May although Pohang won the return fixture by the same scoreline in July.

Awesome!!!! We should have Luke back from injury as well and have every chance......

Didn't make the game last night due to:
1. Did 2 away games this month already
2. Had already been to Ulsan this year
3. My in-laws were all meant to make the trip to my house this weekend (a once or twice a year thing), but only the sister came in the end.
3. Ashamedly, didnt think we had much chance.....how wrong I was.

Glad to see we made it, will certainly be in Pohang.

It would be nice for a civil team to be in the Asian Champions League, if possible I might make the trip down south to root for the Rose! :D

Cheers Sampo. If your at a loose end the weekend of the 20th Oct come down to Pohang for the final. Should be a far few of us there.

Yesterday without doubt the highlight of me following Gyeongnam FC. Still on a high this morning!

A bit down that Jeju didn't make the final, but at least Gyeongnam made it. Hopefully we will see a non traditional K-League power house in the ACL.
