The tree has now sadly gone, but can anyone name this non-league stadium?

Clarence Park, home of St Albans City FC. Probably been there a dozen or so times over the years to see Bromley lose. Always liked the place though for some reason.

Spot on. I've got a mate who is a Bromley fan; i went to watch them play Bishop Storford a few years back- thought it was a decent stadium and the match was quite enjoyable from what i remember.

How about this one, Cyclops (or anyone for that matter, but reckon Cyclops must've been here on his travels at some point.)

Who's your mate? There aren't many of us so it's probably someone I know!

True story. I played at St Albans home ground for Hertfordshire Under 16's v Suffolk Under 16's back in 1992. I played against Kireon Dyer (now of QPR). We lost that game 4-2 and he scored all four playing as an attacking midfielder. Funny fact, he had a shot early on that nestled in that tree and didn't come down. At half time a steward went up to get it down.

For the last 20 minutes I had to track back and try to contain him as he was running rungs around our defensive midfielder. I had him no probs for the first five minutes, then I remember he nutmegged me and called 'nuts" as he did it the cheeky fucker. I was then chasing shadows for the last 15 mins. He didn't score mind you when I was marking him  they were already 4-1 up!

Loads of metal and steel but hardly any seats. Yes, my vote is Brightons new ground too!

Yup, good call! Thought that might be a hard one as it's pretty unlikely anyone would've been able to have visited it yet!
