Chesterfield. Dominated my subbuteo league once upon a time. Have they still got the wonky church?

One for our North American readers. Which soccer team(s) play here, with the yellow lines?

And why would I be looking under the stands for a nuclear reactor?

The famous crooked spire - yes, indeed they do. In fact, last gazed upon it only last summer in a visit there. Know some Spirites fans from my England days and have done a few of their games up at Saltergate, including one for my stag weekend many moons again. (God that seems like a life sentence away now.) Lovely stadium it was. Was sorry to see it go, although the momentum the new one has created for the club has been amazing too. Absolutely brilliant town. Love it up there. They claim it has the highest number of pubs per metre on the main high street of anywhere in the country (but then I've heard that kind of claim from a few folk down the years, so who knows?) - either way, it's absolutely rockin' on a Saturday night.

Do these stadiums have to have real matches of a professional nature? I can show picks of stadiums you've likely never seen. :)

It looks like we might need a few hints to get this one off the books. I had hoped the nuclear reactor thing would be hint enough.

It's a prestigious, rich university in a large well-known city in the USA. The ground also doubles as their American football stadium. They've won a couple of American football National Championships and yet have a stadium that a lot of high school teams would be ashamed of.

Yes. The world's first nuclear reactor was built under one of their stands as part of the Manhattan Project.

It's in Croatia somewhere. I don't know where, do I have to guess? I don't know if I can guess while doing justice to the Croatian language.

Igraliste Batarija - Croatia (I recognised the flag).

Edited to add, and while I was busy congratulating myself and looking for another stadium I see Eujin beat me to it. :)

Anyhow which stadium are these boys getting a bit of world cup fever at?

It's probably somewhere in Qatar. It says Al Arabi on the flag with the falcon. Are they the home team or the away team? It probably doesn't make much difference in Qatar.

It is indeed the home of Al-Arabi.

Are you suggesting that raucous crowd aren't making a difference?

I initially thought some of them were wearing Arsenal shirts.

Keeping up the World Cup theme, where's this?

Correct, the England keeper was Paul Robinson against Paraguay in 2006 and the ref restarted with a drop-ball.

I've heard before that David James punted a ball up and hit the TV screen thing during the warm up before the game, and dared Robinson to do the same thing during the match. Seems funny to think that those two were both for a time England number 1s.

...but then again I saw Korea beat Togo at the same place (wonderful stadium) and (hopefully forgetten men) Lee Chun-Soo and Ahn Jung-Hwan scored the goals in that one- let's hope we've seen the last of that dastardly duo.
