Re: 2018 K League 1
After the first day draw, is that the highest we will see Seoul for the next few months? Will they do their normal dive before creeping up to a reasonable position again?
There are two routes to success in football. One is being good. The other is being lucky. You need both to win a championship. But you need only one to win a match.

I see (from three-month-old news) that Yoo Sang-chul, a 2002 World Cup starlet who has been managing at university level in recent years, has made a return to the K-League with Jeonnam. He managed Daejeon in late 2011 and 2012 but didn't do well.

Looks who's top after 2 rounds, none other than this forum's two favourite teams. Huzzah!

Re: 2018 K League 1
Double as many matches played now as the last time I posted the league table and it's still Gyeongnam and Pohang in the top two places.
If it stays like this until the end of the season I'll do the first MOTD of next season in just my undies.

13k for a 'supermatch' with a thousand more down the road watching the baseball. Truly the kleague is dying a slow death...

5th versus 11th not pulling them in like it used to?
The last time I saw Pohang vs Jeonbuk (back in 2009) there were 8,000 there. That was in the midst of Pariahs's reign of glory in the year they won the ACL with Denilson and Suttibo. This year there were over 10,000 at the same fixture.
