Suwon Bluewings 2017

Postby Suwonesque » Mon May 01, 2017 10:55 pm

Anything about Suwon in 2017.

Notable signings: Kim Min-woo, Matthew Jurman, Damir Šovšić and Park Gi-dong

So far:
Kim Min-woo - :-)
Matthew - :o
Damir - :-)
Park Gi-dong - :|

We had a chance to go to the next round of ACL, but lost at home to Kawasaki Frontale.
In the league, after some early-season turbulence, looks like we are back in the business, amid shaky at the back.
FA CUp: Incheon United 0-1 Suwon Samsung, so far.

I don't understand very well that smile for Jurman. You are satisfied with him? You should be more satisfied about Kim Min Woo. Great signing.

Our first win in the league was because of him! 2 goals in one game for a defender. Deserves my smile for that!

Seo rested some players today as the next game in ACL is crucial

He can rest all outfield players, but I don't understand why he did rest the No1 GK.
GKs usually don't get tired from playing, and it is not even a cup game.

An offside goal, and we are out from ACL. Good play against mega rich Guangzhou Evergrande.

Good win at Chunnam today. Our away form has been good recently.

Mixed results so far for Suwon in K-league. Is You Joo-ahn a new Kwon Chang-hoon? Looks so promising.

Johnathan Vilela scored 30 goals in just 358 days, breaking 산드로, 샤샤 and 나드손's records

It took
①Johnathan 11months 24days
②샤샤, 산드로 1year 2months
③나드손 1year 6months
to score 30 goals.

So, we have something to cheer up. Hope to win something again this year.

We are not that bad now, scoring goals for fun. But still 3rd in the league after 22 games. Time to move up.

By the way, Johnathan is in tremendous form recently.

We moved to the 2nd in the league by goal difference.

Jeonbuk, we will come for you.

All the early season frustrations are left behind I think. Ulsan did a huge favor for us and for themselves by beating Jeonbuk away. We beat Gwangju twice within a week, away for the league, and at home for the KFA Cup. Both games were very frustrating, but we managed to win narrowly.

Now, hopefully we don't screw up on this Saturday against Seoul. Big Super Match is coming up next!
