Challengers League - Gimpo

Postby Piggy » Tue Apr 02, 2013 2:42 pm

I thought I'd have a wander along on Saturday. If anyone can give me directions I'd be grateful.

There are no trains, but plenty of buses. Let me know where you'll be starting your journey from and I'll give you some suggestions.

Thanks Cyclops, much appreciated. I'll be starting from Yeoksam, near Gangnam.

You're in luck, there are direct buses from Gangnam station to the ground. When you get to Gangnam station you want to be on the main road running N/S (i.e. not the E/W road that tube line no 2 runs under), go to the bus stops either directly north or directly south of the station (both stops are fine as the bus comes up from Yangae and heads towards the river), hop on either 9501 or 9502 for 2,500 won (or use your card), and about an hour later after following the river jump off at the Gimpo City Hall stop which is right next to the ground. Piece of cake.

Have fun!
