K3 - Goyang

Postby sjc_three » Thu May 24, 2012 6:54 pm

Hi folks. I'm planning on going to the K3 game at Goyang on Saturday. Can anyone help with directions? I'm struggling. Or do they just play at the same place as the N-League team?

It's a different ground from the N-League team. Been there but can't remember which station it was near. I'll look into it and get back to you unless someone beats me to it!!!

Just seen KFA website and the game seems to have moved to Pocheon (the away team!).

No idea why, because Goyang are still listed as the home team...

Thats a shame as Goyang is one of my favourite grounds.

Pocheon's is nice too though. :)

For future reference I think the subway station might be Wondang, as long as the pitch is the one next to the ice hockey arena.

If that's it then you head out of the station in the direction where stuff looks busier, then after two or three hundred yards cross the road and head off to your left. It's about ten minutes walk uphillish from there.

Yep Piggy's right, about a 10-15 minute walk through a big park and you'll come to the SPART complex - much hilarity when I thought they got the engraving in a giant boulder at the entrance incorrect until I figured out it was a combination of sport and art.

As Cyclops says though the game has been switched to Pocheon, it's advertised as such on the official Pocheon website as well. There's some sort of boys' national sports championship on at the Goyang venue this weekend.

Does anyone know if tomorrows Goyang game is at the SPART Complex pitch? Soccerway has it down as being at Deokyang Eoulim Nuri Stadium which looks suspiciously like the practice pitch next to Goyang KB's ground.

I think the Eolim Nuri ground is the one they normally play at, in the complex with swimming pool, theatre, etc. (nowhere near the big stadium where K2 Goyang play).

Yep the Eoulim Nuri ground is the proper name for the SPART complex where Goyang FC usually play.

I will do, Mipo.

Thanks Cyclops and Holyjoe. The game was at SPART. Sensibly I followed your advice rather than the Soccerway info. Someone there needs a poke in the eye for putting up the map showing the Eoulim Nuri ground to be next to KB's stadium.
