I haven't been posting much. I'm not really down with European soccer. I'm sure it's good and all, but I have enough stuff to worry about. I'm hoping to get my 2010 season ticket next week. I've never had a season ticket to anything in my life. Which makes me wonder.....[visits google....does some searches.....comes back] what season tickets at Seongnam's Art Center would cost.

I'm still trying to figure out the difference between the card tickets and the paper tickets Seongnam offers. Guess it isn't that important.

Paper one is for N, E stands.. nae for the W2 stand so 30,000 won cheaper.

There they are!

SO many Seongnam fans in that picture. Those must be part of the 5500 fans I didn't see at the stadium that night.

Tancheon AWAY section (S) is missing a bit of roof due to the score board. :)

One week from tonight!! PLEASE 10C please 10C It's way too cold now.

First visit to Tancheon for an actual game tonight. The stadium wasn't anywhere NEAR as bad as you said it was. Of course I was up in the nose bleed seats behind the media and enjoyed myself.

The roof looked nice. The seats could use a scrub though...

You sound like you were there. :) Last summer when I visited the seats were 5000times worse than last night.

New roof? I'm hoping it rains for a lot of games this year :)

I saw a report that said "Kawasaki will feel unlucky to have come away empty-handed after controlling for long periods".

Is that how you saw it, anamerican?
How about you, kingkenny?

Anyway, terrific win for Seongnam.

I'm no so sure about that. Once you're leading, naturally you go into a more defensive mindset to keep your lead. I thought Seongnam rotated their defense really well. Kawasaki had these horizontal movements trying to get Seongnam out of position and I thought to myself, Seongnam's defense is passing players off to the next defender really well. Once, Kawasaki had one of these horizontal attacks and in the middle of it switched directions back to other way. And a defender was in position. I really think Seongnam's defense did a fantastic job in this regard. Their defenders always seemed to be in the right place. Perhaps what Kawasaki tried to do offensively wasn't really a test for Seongnam's defense.

When you call a football game as 'unlucky' that it means you dominated the game and hit the bar more than twice.
But IMAO, they gained the result of their own performance.

Yeah, Kawasaki dominated the game but that's all! They couldn't make any proper goal.
Like any other Japanese teams, they are lack of finish.

Ma friends called that game as "The Battle of Craps"
I'm happy that we were better crap.

Seongnam offers a great soccer experience. It's located near the bus terminal, shopping centers, food, and a walk along Tancheon River beside the stadium.

Copyright Seongnam Tourist Board?

It took me 2 visits to find the 'nearby bus terminal' (i.e. after the game on my second visit), but I suppose the exercise walking miles along the main road to get to the ground did me good.

Wouldn't mind giving the walk along Tancheon River a go next time.

Dare I say it, given the start they've had Seongnam could be worth watching this season!
