Anybody going to Pocheon for the big finale tomorrow?

I think I can make it, but need to be back in Seoul for family shit at 6.30 so extra time and penalties are not allowed!

Pocheon City 0-3 Hwaseong FC

Hwaseong, and their tiny traveling support owned Pocheon for most of the match. Disappointing from a neutral's perspective, considering how dominant Pocheon were this season.

All was not lost though... I caught a signed golden ball :)

I, and everyone around us, believe the guy threw the ball staight at me. Don't care! My ball!
There are two routes to success in football. One is being good. The other is being lucky. You need both to win a championship. But you need only one to win a match.

The head Ferret was in attendance at this match as well, anyone catch up with him? Was SteveW there with his CV asking for a job?

Only me and Steven, as far as I could see.

The real star of the show was the psycho Pocheon granny who spent the entire first half juggling (including a gold giveaway ball at one point) and then broke into the VIP section to continue at half time only to end up in a fist fight with the security guy and then get escorted back to the Pocheon section where she spent the entire second half drumming like a mental before starting an argument with the ajossis just to Otto's left.

God damn it.. I thought and thought what the hell ajossis meaning is. I found Google and did anything fot it. Finally, I read it slowly and I realized I was really fxxing stupid. 아저씨! Damn it.. I spent over 10 minutes to found meaning of this really common Korean word.

It's an Engorean word, kind of like Konglish but the opposite. Another Engorean word is the noun waygook as in: "the ajossis and the waygooks looked at each other and were amused".

Next Week:

Pocheon's Psycho Granny versus The Martyrs Drummer Boy in a fight to the death*! And they said the off-season was boring!

The winner gets a copy of Eujin's new book, Grammar for Engorean and Konglish. The loser gets to die....live on YouTube....

* Shift swap at Lotte Super pending. In the event that his mate won't do it because he has to go to a church event, that bloke from Chuncheon who kind of walks like an ape is on stand-by.

Just really glad to see Pocheon lose....although Hwaseong are professionals masquerading as amateurs....the opposite of how I make a living....

Fucking "Doctor" Son.....if he's got a PhD, I'll eat my hat! I still spend half of my life dreaming of stealing a zebra from Seoul Zoo and letting it loose at the Nowon Likes Us!

Turns out the Traveling Manager was sitting somewhere behind us.
We were wondering if he would make his way to that game. No reason not to watch the two "amateur" teams who can actually challenge higher league squads.

Did she do any dancing? My first football match in Korea included watching a crazy granny from Pocheon dancing during the side's FA cup match against Dongguk University.

In Yangju, if your cabbage doesn't understand you and you have valid reason for not eating it, then it is ok to go to other vegetables for your kimchi - though strictly nothing from south of Namyangju. -- Martyrs Forever

He'll have a restraining order out on you by March...
