Hoping that E-Land put on a bus but no idea..needs to be done anyway

Was all ready to do Ulsan Mipo v Jeonnam this midweek then realised they've switched it to Gwangyang..which seems impossible to do in a midweek since the stadium seems to be miles away from absolutely anything.

You'll be coming back to Scotland in a wooden box if Mrs. W gets wind of those plans...

I have a cunning plan...

1. She's invited to all the weekend trips (even though she won't go)
2. It's my birthday in August so if/when she asks my 'present' is to be allowed to go
3. Jeju will be a long weekend break with the family hopefully
4. If she's insisting we go back to the UK she can STFU.

I love travelling around Korea but was struggling a bit in Sangju for food options..had to settle for Emart pizza....still plenty of Hite swill sold around town though.

Gyeongnam roadshow is back on again...
This weekend they play Suwon FC in Jinju which is an awesome stadium (except for the obligatory running track) for the town. I wonder how many of the locals will show up thinking they are playing Suwon Samsung....half the crowd will be sojued up anyway so wont know the difference.

go to suncheon, then a 40 minute bus east. suncheon has a ktx i tihnk and the bus runs fairly often. from the gwangmyeong bus station, it isnt far at all.
well well well

Seems that Gwangyang isn't doable midweek in a day - as far as I can tell the last bus leaves the town too early to catch after the match. So it'll be a sofa night for me instead.

Thats the one...it is a cracking stadium, especially for the city of that size (someone did well out of some sneaky envelopes). However, what kills it somewhat is the running track. Any stadium with a running track is a big cross against it.....

So it's Jeonju double header this weekend, unless the buses are all fully booked again!

Not much help with specifics but there are a shitload of buses that run from Yongin to Suwon station, and now that the Everline and Bundang extension are open you can get the subway right into the centre of Yongin. The football centre is nowhere near the city centre though I believe though I've not been there.

Used to live near where the Giheung transfer station is now, the whole area was an ongoing construction site when I was there but it's been developed massively in the last ten years or so almost beyond recognition. That goes for much of the country I guess.
