The National League confirmed the dates and the draw for this today, with it being held in Donghae (Gangwon-do) from July 26th to August 6th. Unlike in previous years it's solely for National League sides, though they could have done with inviting one other team to make it an equal four groups of four. Alex scored two of Mipo's four goals today.. Vinicius didn't feature in the quarter-finals but he has been playing during the group stages. Suwon's new Brazilian bloke hasn't featured in any of their matches so far.

Wednesday's semi-final line-up will be:

Goyang Kookmin Bank v Busan Transportation Corporation

That's Ulsan Mipo through to the final as they defeated Suwon City 2-0 a little bit earlier. The two foreigners scored the goals, Alex netting in the 48th minute and Vinicius in the 57th. They both got booked during the match as well for good measure.

Busan are currently 1-0 up on Goyang and there's not long left in that one.. Lee Yong-seung's scored the only goal so far after just five minutes.

... and Mipo will now almost certainly play Busan in the final - Lee scored his second of the match with just a few minutes remaining.

Game over, Busan are through.

Literally just stepped through the door to find this. Yippeeeeeeeeee! Now where the fuck is Donghae?!! Best get on the case. The wife is going to be thrilled.

Why it's just north of Samcheok, of course! (And directly west of Ulleung Island, it turns out.)

Is this the ground the tournament is being held in? I might check out Donghae (and Gangwon) the next time I'm in Korea. Nestled between the mountains and the ocean, it looks rather nice...

But certainly it could never top the utopia that is Namhae!

That must be it.. the National League website says it's at the Donghae main stadium. No word yet on whether the match will be televised or not, but I'm pretty sure KFATV.com will show it.

sjc_three, could be a bit of a marathon journey from Busan up there if you were to leave tomorrow morning and get there for kickoff at 2pm but I'm sure it's possible!
