This 여자친구 group gets around, they'll be at Bucheon's home opener on the 9th.

Re: 2016 WK-League

I only made it to one Hwacheon game last season (against Suwon) but the game was a lot more entertaining than a lot of men's games I've seen in Korea. :D

Re: 2016-17 kit

Well, now their old "Be the Reds!" line makes some sense at least. :)

Re: Best Korean Sports Logo/Crest

Too many birds in group 4, :D

Its probably the fascist in me, but I like the normal Sangmu logo quite a bit (as seen for the Seongnam volleyball team)

Re: Trying to get a team

You could see if Spanish citizens qualify for the Working Holiday visa and whether that would let you achieve your aims. Yes, I already checked it before. But unfortunately that option is just available for 6 countries: France, Japan, Australia, New Zeland, EEUU and Canada. After contacting Seoul U...

Re: 2016 N-league season

Roko Puljiz is the chap, he's got a YouTube video here: Judging by the picture outside of a 7 Eleven he also appears to have a profile on a website called Hot or Not  And I wonder, why this guy can play on the N-League and I have to beg for K3 one. :bounce: :bounce: You obviously need a high...

Re: 2016 Uniforms Thread

I'm usually all for simple, classic looks, but K-League's gone a bit too far this year and looks like a damn rec league with all the plain kits. I like most of them on an individual basis, but Gwangju, Seongnam, Suwon, Ulsan, Anyang, Bucheon, Busan, Daegu, Daejeon, and one of E-Land's all being pla...

Re: Jeonju is shit at sport

Bollocks. Typical anti-Gangwon bias. Gangwon FC (13 wins, 15 losses) played a couple of home games in Wonju, which makes them a Wonju team. Added to Promy (37-17 in the regular season last year) I reckon that makes Wonju the 2nd best in the country and miles ahead of 'We Ansan' Typical southerner b...

Re: 2016 Uniforms Thread

Bucheon has slapped their season's slogan on their uniforms fairly regularly. The first I remember was mustoe's "Come Together Bucheon" :D

Re: Gang-gone FC?

More bad news for Gangwon as two of their admin have gotten caught up in embezzling funds. Most notably the old "using the corporate card for the nightlife" gag.

Re: Gang-gone FC?

Bucheon's chairman is the mayor of Bucheon, and sometimes articles refer to it as a "citizen" team.

I own some shares in Bucheon, and not once have I gotten a stinking newsletter about the what's goings on with the club. :(

Re: 2015 K-League Challenge Play-offs

The KBO has seen a decline in attendance the past two seasons, the KBO bigwigs aren't any brighter than the K-League ones. :albino:

Re: 2015 K-League Challenge Play-offs

The change of ownership from Daewoo to Hyundai Construction in 1999/2000 (and the resulting budget cuts), as well as the move from Gudeok (in an older, denser, and more southern part of the city) up to Asiad (much further up north in a less populated area, initially with no subway stop) initially r...

Re: Gang-gone FC?

I have doubts that Gangneung would want to, they are the de facto host city for the Olympics and need to be getting things ready for that vanity project. Chuncheon or Wonju creating a team would be more likely (more likely than 0%)

I would like it though. :(
