Re: K-League - Round 9

Went to see FC Seoul play Incheon today, I guess a few others of here may have as well. I think FC Seoul deserved to win, though Incheon were very disappointing. Radoncic scored a good goal for the visitors but was awful apart from that and got little service. No Musampa or Kim-Eun Jung for FC Seou...

Re: Korea conflict: North balks at using South's flag

Now the North doesn't want to play in the South and has asked FIFA to move the venue... South Korea never planned on not playing in North Korea. Your being a little pedantic I think. I expect FIFA to ignore the request from North Korea, they are just throwing their toys out of the pram up there.

Re: Arisu League 2007/08

If this league is well organised and supported by the powers that be then it should be a big success. The more teams and competitive leagues the better Korean footie can develop. A football mad Korean at work told me that next year a new team will be added to the K-League representing Kangwon-do, an...

Re: Suwon make bid for Seol Ki Hyeon

He's going to get relegated (probably) with Fulham (LG sponsored) and I am sure they are going to have a clear out in the summer. He hasn't contributed much to them this season even though he has had some games. A good chance he'll be off. Didn't impress with Reading after a good start with them eit...

European Champions League

So who got up/stayed up the last two nights to watch the Semi-finals?

Great game between Chelsea and Liverpool last night.

The final should be something special seeing as Man Utd and Chelsea are neck a neck in the Premier League.

Re: Tickets to watch the national team?

Thanks for the info.

Sounds like I'll have no problem turning up on the day of the Jordan match at the end of May then.

Bars for watching footie Seoul..

I guess a few people on here watch the Premier League at the weekends, so was just wondering if anyone could recommend a good bar to catch games in? Anyone know of any decent places in the Hongdae area? I know a few in Itaewon (Wolfhound, Hollywoods) and the London Pub in Sinchon, but not much of an...

Re: Today's Match against Jeju

Jeju must be pretty pissed at coming all the way to the Seoul area every other week for nothing.

Suwon are flying and although FC Seoul look to have improved a little I think Seongnam and Incheon are going to be the cloest challengers. Although you never what will happen in the playoffs...

Re: KiKi Musampa

Saw him play on Sunday against Jeju and he looked pretty sharp. Great technique and definitely added something to the team. Didn't give the ball away and played a part in the opening goal.

I hope he can really apply himself and stay motivated, FC Seoul could have found a gem.
