Incheon must simply play their best team. No more home town decisions. An average performance or silly lapse will see us continue the gradual slide down the ladder. The club continues kidding themselves due to the early season win over a slow starting Seoul unit. Today's game is no walk in the park...

Re: K-League Classic 2013: Round 10

If Burns is fit by now Bong-Gill Kim should be playing him. A good manager should swallow his pride and not be concerned that a previous coaching regime was responsible for bringing a player to the club. You can usually get away with not playing the best 11 against the norm. You get exposed fast no...

Re: 2013 summer transfer thread

Incheon's Nathan Burns loaned out to Newcastle Jets until mid January. http://www.footballaustralia.com.au/newcastlejets/news-display/Jets-sign-Nathan-Burns/71310 He doesn't go on loan until September 1, though. And back around January 11. I suppose they'll ask to extend loan, complete a buyout or ...

Re: 2013 summer transfer thread

Thank goodness.

Newcastle have 5 young national team members. Now Burns next to Heskey. I hope they have a good season.

Re: 2013 summer transfer thread

Leonardo was such a good player at AEK where he played with Nathan Burns. They won a Greek Cup in a league which that year had good Champions League sides. Weird the amount of foreign players not in the plans of managers at the moment.

Re: KLeague Classic Round 14

I meant Burns being here prior to Kim Bong-Gil. Not Kim's choice/signing.

Re: KLeague Classic Round 14

It's pretty clear Kim not going to play him as he did not bring him to the club. Word in Australia is that Newcastle Jets want him to play next to Emile Heskey but Incheon appear' want him back in February. ??? Another mentioned was Sydney FC where he would play on a wing next to Del Piero. To make ...

Re: 2013 summer transfer thread

I'm hearing Jets in the A-League want Nathan Burns to play next to Emile Heskey I think that would be good for Burns as he wants to get recalled to the national team.

Re: Socceroos' future set to be decided in Asia

Not exactly sure what the Burnsy situation is. Heard the fitness thing earlier, here, but photos posted of pre-season camp showed him in good condition. The knee is Appar' good and ready to go. The current manager at Incheon is not the one who got him to the club and team sheets from last weeks game...
