Serves Incheon right. What do they expect. Manager needs to be given a suitcase.

Re: Alex Wilkinson

Do not get me started on the Nathan Burns saga. The manager for whatever reason has given him no chance. At AEK he took Leonardo's starting spot. A few months back coming back after a yr injured he destroyed Melbourne Victory. Incheon should have/could have finished higher. Who if anyone at the club...

Re: Alex Wilkinson

I think Alex is a very good footballer who deserves a call up. A number of Australian players have had poor experiences once arriving in Sth Korea and China. They do not seem to have the same problems in Japan tbh.

Re: Nathan Burns

Sunderland looked poor. However saw Ki Sung-Yueng playing and he was replaced late by an ex team mate of Burns from AEK, Scocco.

Thought there might have been some Burns news by now.

Re: Nathan Burns

I'm guessing that the serious money that can be earnt in Australia is all long tied up. Clubs there have marque players who earn considerably more, but those spots are decided prior to the season starting. At transfer time in January it's just a bit of tinkering so there was probably not much on off...

Re: Nathan Burns

Thanks for that update. That's a real shame he is not in the manager's plans for this season. He was in such good form and getting better as the A-League season went on. Maybe another loan somewhere. I can understand Incheon would not give him to a rival but surely some J-League side would consider ...

Re: Nathan Burns

This ticks all the boxes of an unsolved mystery. Burns returned to Korea 3 weeks ago yet I have not seen or heard anything. Nothing from Guam interviews or photos. He had a pretty decent loan spell playing through the Aussie Summer. Anyone got any gossip. :smt102

Re: 2013-14 close season transfer thread

Probably Roger Guerreiro from Brazil who plays for Poland. He's a very good player who was a team mate of Nathan Burns and Leonardo at AEK. He went onto captain AEK.

Re: 2013-14 close season transfer thread

Thanks for the updates people, keep them coming. Greetings to all for the new year. Newcastle Herald in Australia has reported that Nathan Burns, along with his agent and their Korean rep will be in Korea next week to meet with Incheon Utd. It appears as though Newcastle and Incheon have not been ab...

Re: 2013-14 close season transfer thread

Would Incheon use him? I doubt it, they can not see past the end of their nose, such is their vision.

Was tearing it up on the weekend scoring both his teams goals in a win against Melbourne Victory.

The Incheon disaster was avoidable. How is it that no one else saw it coming? It wasn't rocket science. :smt119 :smt119 :smt119 :smt119 :smt119 :smt119 :smt119 :smt119 :smt119 :smt119 :smt119 :smt119 :smt119
