Re: K-League Challenge 2016

Cristian Danalache: Danalache: I left China because the world says the football from South Korea is better. I want to see if this is true While that is fine I am still puzzled as to why he chose Gyeongnam. I am sure plenty of the Kleague classic teams would have welcomed him as well with his scorin...

Re: 2016 N-league season

N-league's catchphrase for the 2016 season is
"열정을 넘어 꿈을 향한 도약! 2016 내셔널리그" meaning "Leap beyond your passion of dreams! National League 2016.

2016 N-league season

This one seems to have fallen by the wayside on this forum and it could fail to exist in a couple of years with possible reforms on the horizon but I can see myself getting to quite a few games this season. Round 1 - all games March 19th at 3pm *Ulsan vs. Gimhae - last years champs versus last years...

Re: Olympic qualifiers / AFC U-23 Championship

Japan won in a super comeback after being 2-0 down early in the second half to win 3-2 over Korea. I went to bed at halftime (1am here) with Korea 1-0 up and very doninant having also had 2 goals (rightly) ruled offside. I didnt think Japan had much of a chance so I am guessing Korea just cracked un...

Re: 2015/2016 Winter Transfer Thread

Gyeongnam have made another decent signing: Lee Sang Hyup - nickname is 미친 왼발 or 'crazy left-foot' is a 29 year old winger with a lot of Kleague experience. A former U23 korean player, he has played 50 games for Seoul and 31 games for Jeonbuk. His last season at K2 level at Sangju he got 15 goals in...

Re: Olympic qualifiers / AFC U-23 Championship

I watched all the Aussie qualifiers and they looked weak going forward but very solid at the back. In saying that, the game against Jordan in second half injury time they hit the crossbar where only about 1cm lower it would have gone in and they would have been through. As for SK...wont be surprised...

While no doubt that will happen I am hoping he gets paired up with Kim Hyung Pil who is also a proven goalscorer although in the lower divisions.

Re: 2015/2016 Winter Transfer Thread

Didn't Gyeongnam said they will not sign foreign players? I heard wrong.. That is an awesome signing, injury-prone or not. You didnt hear wrong. That is what the owners (gyeongnam provincial office) said late last season but before the new coach was signed. Looks like the new coach must have had hi...
