Please note will be going to the Sydney-suwon game on Tuesday night so please PM if you are going! Spent the past week plus in Japan as far away from Planet Football as you can imagine. ...Only to find the Gamba Osaka squad on the same flight as me out of Osaka on their way to Melbourne! :-D Didn't...

Re: 2011 National League thread

Aye you've got me thinking now... only been down to Mokpo once but didn't spend any time in the city. A group of us had decided on a spur of the moment trip to Jeju during my first summer in Korea so as it was too late to sort out flights we took the bus down from Suwon to Mokpo and then got the ca...

Re: A-League 2010/11

Wasn't sure where to post this....but...the big rumour I'm hearing back home is Roy Keane for the Melbourne Victory job. His sister lives in Melbourne, and the rumour suggests that he's keen to move to warmer climes! Heard it from a VERY reliable source (now I sound like Maas!!!) so i believe that ...

Re: 2011 K League schedule change : 성남,경남

If they play away from Changwon where do they head? Always like the option of another place to visit? I havent been down to changwon since the Asian games in 02. Is that the stadium they use, seem to remember a race track near the one i visited... They will play in Changwon.. They dont play at that...

Re: Some Statistics of AFC professional leagues

My understanding is it was when teh Aleague started there were only 8 teams so only offered them 2 spots. I can't help feeling that the Aussies are getting diddled a bit by the AFC. What do you think? My feeling is I think we are pretty lucky to be honest to be even in the AFC in the first place an...

Seongnam City has decided in their infinite wisdom to sod the pitch at Tancheon, again. Don't ask. They are elected wise overloads and as such we much bow to their every wish. Cough cough. Re: 2011 AFC CL Group Stage R2

Docklands looks as busy as the stadium I went to in Jeju for the 2008 FA cup! The official attendance was less than 5,000. And ticket office dramas meant that half of those (including myself) still managed to miss the first 10-15mins! :smt093 I really hate missing kick-off at the best of times, and...
