Re: Son Heung-Min (Bayer 04 Leverkusen/1. Bundesliga/Germany

I was pretty much sure that at one point of his career he would be in EPL. And his move to Spurs makes lot of sense. Decent team, good city to leave and attracts good Korean viewers from Tv. Sbs sports will benefit from it. But he has still his military service pending... Great for Korean fans to s...

Re: Incheon United’s North: K-League better than A-League

North’s difficulties were compounded when he signed for South Korea’s Incheon United in 2009. He’s not sure now whether he actually wanted to play overseas at the time but he felt pressure to do so because that’s what professional players are supposed to aspire to, isn’t it? It was certainly what s...

Re: KLeague Round 27

He went to appoligise to a bunch of rude misbehaving children who tried to steal a ball? Why? :smt102 Probably because someone told him to. The irony of all this is that at the start of the warm-up for every home game all the Seoul players kick signed golden balls into the crowd for them to keep......

Re: KLeague Round 27

Yes ladies and gentlemen, it is totally legit to kick the ball into the away fans if your name is Park Ju Young. You even get the police to come and stick up for you! I wondered why the police were in among the (few) away fans at Sangam. To be honest I didn't see the incident...whenever Park gets t...

Re: 2015 K-League Classic Round 25

As I've been saying for the past few months, this Seongnam is totally different from the past ones we used to make fun of. They utterly dominated Suwon for an hour and it was surprising they only scored one. They then sat back for the final 30 minutes and could have conceded but even if they had, y...

Re: 2015 summer transfer thread

Busan have signed a Brazilian called Bill... now he may turn out to be absolutely fucking amazing, but Brazilian players should have exotic names like Socrates and Zico. I still reckon the reason they didn't win the 2014 World Cup is they had too many Freds, Oscars and Bernards in their team - if t...

Good question!

Molina
Osmar
Everton

...probably Everton to go? Not made a big impact and also a forward. I hope it's not Molina.

Re: 2015 Korean FA Cup quarter-finals

When do they fiddle with their balls to sort out their semis? ...or is it all predetermined. Two goals for Park, second one took a chunky deflection to take it in. All goals from set plays. Decent movement from Park in the box I guess. Was looking to see how altered the line-ups were from the league...

Park, Chu-Young's own work. One of the most creative things he's done since his time on the French Riviera.

Re: 2015 K-League Classic Round 21 & 22

Good to Cha back in the starting line-up and Park CY on the bench (where he deserved to be after going around the keeper and missing against Gwangju). Park was in the right place at the right time for goal though it looks like he was just poking it away from the keeper up in the air rather than sho...

Re: 2015 summer transfer thread

Rumours are that the new coach took an instant dislike to him and they had some kind of bust-up. He's in Brazil now and nobody knows what's going on. The whole thing is a farce brought about by our dickhead of a new chairman who forced out coach Cho. Maybe he'll get a call from Big Phil and hop it ...

Re: 2015 K-League Classic Round 21 & 22

Pohang were awesome tonight. Seoul were...souless. Jin-Ho, Shin, Dong-Woon,Sim and Seung-Dae, Kim were really great for the visitors. Sim's goal, Pohang's 3rd came are a neat shimmy to fool the defender and although he was in a crossing position be fired the ball in like he was shooting, KYD totally...

Re: K-League player salaries

Some figures on league salaries doing the rounds, this information for 2014 was made available by the KFA.. interesting to compare with the figures in the initial post to see how things have changed. < 외국인선수 > 1위 몰리나(FC서울) 13억 2,400만원 Not utilised well enough by his manager, even more of a crime co...
