We also appointed your assistant as our manager who doesn't seem to have a f**king clue what he's doing.

It wouldn't surprise me one bit to see us drop to the bottom of the league over the next few weeks, perhaps even this weekend. A sorry state of affairs indeed.

Absolutely shambolic mate. We're certainties for the wooden spoon this year.

Re: K-League Challenge 2017

I'll be heading to my first Daejeon home match for quite a while for the game against Busan tomorrow. Hoping to see our former coach and all around legend Cho Jin Ho as he returns to the Purple Arena for the first time since being sacked back in 2015 (that worked out really well). The malaise around...

Re: 2016-17 Winter Transfer Window

Hwang In-Beom was in talks with Portugal giant Benfica, but just that. Yes. I've heard that some of the elite European teams are interested. I wouldn't be surprised; he is a top, top player. He'll be a Korean national team regular very soon. I would be completely shocked if he was still at Daejeon ...

Re: 2016-17 Winter Transfer Window

Finally a good signing for E-Land? Seoul E-Land have confirmed a signing of midfielder Kim Byung-suk from Daejeon Citizen. The skipper of Daejeon last season. He's been with Citizen for about 5-6 years I think. We signed him from some team in Portugal if memory serves me correctly. Anyway, he's a d...

Re: 2016-17 Winter Transfer Window

Not sure if this has been mentioned, but Daejeon have signed former national team defender Kim Jin Kyu. 42 appearances for the Red Devils. This has to be considered an excellent signing at this level.

Re: K-League Challenge 2017

You've signed 2 very good players from us Liam. Buzzing about this season. No point deduction over our head. Squad looking decent. Season tickets to be purchased next week. While this is true, we've also lost the league's top scorer. That said, we've also lost the league's worst manager, so that mi...

Re: K-League Challenge 2016

Speaking of Choi, Evergreen's been quiet lately. I hope Choi didn't have him kidnapped from a Tokyo hotel room... :smt117 (But seeing as Evergreen personally represents 0.07% percentage of the club's fanbase, that's probably not the best scenario financially for the club.) I'm here :smt006 Busy wit...

Re: K-League Challenge 2016

Chungju Hummel 2 - 2 Gangwon FC * Nomads with their second draw against a former Classic side in a fortnight. Not bad. Daejeon Citizen 5 - 0 Ansan Police FC * Choi Moon-sik for the Korea MNT job! But in all seriousness... this is the second time that leaders Ansan have been emphatically routed in h...

Re: 2016 Summer Transfer Window

Maranhao is pretty good if I remember rightly. Gangwon look very decent on paper. What with Daegu also strengthening, I think that this is going to be a very long second half of the season for us.

Wanderson has signed for Jeju by the way.

Re: 2016 Summer Transfer Window

Daejeon foreigners Wanderson and Silva are both out of contract at the end of this month. The club have hinted that they don't have the money to re-sign them.

Back down the table we go then.

Not surprised at all by this. You'd imagine they should be far higher than mid-table.
