Korean Basketball

They are touring NZ at the moment on a 3 test series and got BONED by NZ by 30+ points in game one. I'm off to the 3rd test with the Korean missus who was so embarrassed by that first up result she reckons she'll be wearing black to the game. They shot like crap and got owned on the boards in game o...

looks like a truly horrible ground for spectating. Players = ants, will have SFA atmosphere.

Re: The "48"

Went to watch Thorniewood United in the Juniors last night, whilst updating my ridiculously anal football stat lists I've noticed that they're the first team I've seen whose name begins with the letter T (not been to see The Rangers yet). It would appear that I now need V, X and Z to complete the a...

Losing to Anyang is a great honour.

What's with the tiny white handbags? I know footballers can't fight, but that's really taking the piss.

Re: Eland-Seoul FC(tentative name) Project begins.

Good luck. About time Seoul got it's own football team.

Western Sydney Wanderers have basically come along after Sydney FC and taken over as the better supported team in the city.

Re: K2 2014 Rounds 1-9

Awful start to the campaign for Gangwon, who were by far the better of the three relegated sides throughout the whole of 2013 in the top flight. Poor start to the year for Bucheon as well. Someone will pick up points this weekend at least as the two teams meet in Bucheon: Pos Team P W D L F A Pts G...

Re: Its been fun guys...see you in a couple of years.

East Auckland is where I live. Quite enjoy it over here esp. going for a walk to Musick Point or down the beach. That said, I know what njs means. However, as I live in a flat that until recently served as a medical clinic and have a depot for a backyard I cannot be accused of leading an extravagan...

Re: Its been fun guys...see you in a couple of years.

I didn't know nzfooty was out in East Auckland! Me and my wife and daughter have visited Musick pt a couple of times and like it. I'll leave the footie break downs to him though I did have my research hat on to find all that other stuff out for you just because. :-) I'm in Oratia in West Auckland. A...

Re: Its been fun guys...see you in a couple of years.

Yeah, have a great time. New Zealand is awesome. Your post reminded me what a great time I had there, especially when I was first arriving in the middle of summer. I think I found a soccet team before I found a place to live and I couldn't really believe it when my teammates said I needed to get bo...

Re: Its been fun guys...see you in a couple of years.

Looks like Auckland City FC will be my new team but by the time I move to NZ there is only one home game left....bloody short season. I don't know the date of your arrival but the national league regular season goes until Feb 23. Then semi and final and they'll probably all be in Auckland as per us...

Re: Its been fun guys...see you in a couple of years.

As a couple people on this board know I am departing Korea at the end of this week and am moving to Auckland, NZ. In all likelihood I will be gone for 2 years but there is a possibility I could be gone for longer, about 4 or 5 years. Just want to say thank you to all the great people I met on my tr...

Hey, we took it out last year!

Judging by this season so far this years should be "We had our turn".
