Re: Korean Football on Wikipedia

I'd love to see Rangers move to Coatbridge, but I think Lanark is a bit more likely. (Coatbridge is predominantly catholic, Lanark was famously the town that tried to get Subway to change the colour of their store from green to blue). Not sure about Steve's example about when FC Seoul would stop bei...

Re: Prediction league 2017

The Prediction Superleague did have a rather quick demise last year, but I'd be willing to merge it with an inferior regular league this year if anyone wants to get one going.

Re: Scottish football 2016/17

I reckon Dembele probably still had his mind on her penalty kickers when he sliced that shot off the crossbar.

Re: Scottish football 2016/17

Well, last weekend, for 50 odd minutes me and Hyo-ri were on. Then Celtic woke up scored a few goals and St Mirren were left with a big cheque, the opportunity to see Gary Mackay-Steven's last game for Celtic and the Brendan Rodgers award for 2nd best team in Scotland. Good enough. Back in the 80s R...

Re: Catchphrases 2017

I like the Jeonbuk one, "Stand up for another champions league representative".

Good to see them getting behind their Hyundai brothers.

Nothing makes me miss Korea quite as much as a K3 League Basic opening day fixture list.

Re: Scottish football 2016/17

St Mirren to deny Celtic their treble? There's more chance of HJ being best man at my wedding to Lee Hyo-ri. I'd take a 3-0 defeat and a big cheque back to Paisley. :) The Castle Greyskull thing is a weird one. It should really be Snake Mountain. Where's the evidence that He-man owns the land thoug...

Re: Scottish football 2016/17

It's great! With Celtic turning a budget ten times bigger than anyone else into a team that is ten times better than anyone else and St. Mirren managing to disappoint even the most pessimistic of supporters, Scottish football would be all doom and gloom if Castle Greyskull wasn't continuing to put o...

Re: 2017 K3 League Basic (D5) season

plus they're not competing with baseball and basketball like E-Land have to; so if they can make this work they could well do okay. Never been convinced with the argument that another team nearby hurts the attendance. The basketball and football seasons don't overlap that much and baseball isn't a ...

Good luck! Say hallo to Kim Hee-jin for me! :0)

Looking forward to Mipo's streak too, although personally I'd skip K3 and streak on to Gangwon FC's new ground via the ski jump then write a book about my experience.

Re: Trying to get a team

If we're pulling names out of backsides, then I'd suggest that Hwaseong is the back side of Siheung and has loads of money to splash on big name foreign signings.

Pop over to the volleyball and see if you can get Kim Hee-jin's autograph for me sometime, SpainGuy! :)

During the match Junggang's number 6 noticed Paquebot's truck was illegally parked and immediately arranged to represent the local council who subsequently fined him. Paquebot claimed his parking was legal under Brassica law and the case went all the way to the Korean supreme court before it was rul...

Excellent stuff, another great K-league team name. In my head Ansan Cleaners are now added to Seoul Woodland Ferrets and Gwangju Fishcakes.
