Re: When will Stielike get sacked?

Appointing Jung would seem like a huge gamble. He hasn't even managed at ACL level let alone international has he? It might not be pretty but don't you just go for maybe Choi kang hee for the last two qualifiers. You need to best most experienced domestic man for the job now I think. Far from a perf...

Re: When will Stielike get sacked?

Should have got rid of him when I told them to. I'm open to offers if the kfa want to put me in charge of hiring and firing

Re: K-League Challenge 2017

Ferrets need to change their manager ASAP if they want to salvage anything form this season. Lovinho was brought back into the team today and no surprise we failed to score and we lose.

Re: K-League Challenge 2017

We can't defend or score. And we are still pickin Lovinho who has a worse scoring rate than Ryan Johnson. We might actually find a way to get relegated at this rate.

English FA Cup

Made my first ever trip to Wembley yesterday for Arsenal v Man City. Bloody impressive stadium but almost as far from the action as you are at Anyang if you get a cheap seat. That was my 13th FA Cup tie of the season and I have been to every round since the First Extra Bonus Special Preliminary Roun...

Re: Scottish football 2016/17

Aberdeen are now potentially one match away from what has surely got to be a unique double - having finished runners-up to Rangers (RIP) in all three major domestic competitions in 1992/93 they are now on course to finish runners-up in the league, League Cup and Scottish Cup to Celtic this season. ...

Re: K-League Challenge 2017

I'll be heading to my first Daejeon home match for quite a while for the game against Busan tomorrow. Hoping to see our former coach and all around legend Cho Jin Ho as he returns to the Purple Arena for the first time since being sacked back in 2015 (that worked out really well). The malaise aroun...

Re: 2017 K3 League Advanced (D4) season

Ooh nice shirt.

Should have kept in touch with my little Pocheon friend from the 48 days.

Not that he would probably be able to give me a shirt. I mean they didn't even give him a car to get to games. He had to take the bus.

Re: Korean Football on Wikipedia

I'll take a stab at this one. Continuity is important, but it's also important why you support a team. If your only reason is that they are the local team and they move to the other end of the country then that goes away. If you live on the other side of the world though, that might be less importa...

Re: Korean Football on Wikipedia

If you don't like the hypothetical then let's take a real example. Ansan Gardeners. New club? Continuation of Mipo? Continuation of ansan?

Autocorrect changed greeners to gardeners. I'm keeping it. Haha.

Re: Korean Football on Wikipedia

How would that be a change of ownership at incheon? What's the difference? What if they did it incrementally over 5 seasons? At which point would it be a change of ownership at incheon rather than a continuation of Seoul? That's what i am asking. And what if incheon continued to exist?

Re: Korean Football on Wikipedia

The other thing that irks me is the double standard because you just know if GS turned round tomorrow and said we have decided to move to Sejong City the fans would be up in arms about it. Some fans, but likely only those who came AFTER the move. I know I'm just one person, but I would be nothing m...

Re: Korean Football on Wikipedia

I see no reason to believe that if Seoul GS moved into the Olympic Stadium in 2015 they would be any better off than Eland are. The main reason I see is that getting a club up and running is a lot easier if you already have a squad and staff set up and ready to go, both from the business side and t...
